Generally I work in a mix of watercolour and acrylic inks but not exclusively. Most of my paintings contain elements of brush and pen work but sometimes using a wooden chopstick creating soft edges with a toothbrush. I take inspiration mainly from the trees and landscapes around me, developing these references in my home studio. I also enjoy using metal leaf in a variety of colours and techniques and acrylic paintings on canvas using gesso for texture.
I am a full exhibiting member of Guildford Art Society , Woking Art Society and Pirbright Art Club and have exhibited for the Royal Society of British Artists at the Mall Gallery, London. I am taking part in the Surrey Artists' Open Studios for the fourth time this year.
